Hello my name is Coach Ash. I’ve been a competitive All-Star cheerleader since I was 8, a 5 time UCA All-American pick, a New York Mets Beach Bum dancer seasons 2013 & 2014, and nd former Brooklyn Diamond cheerleader. 

 

I started gymnastics at 4 years old at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club. I then transitioned to All-Star cheerleading at aviator Sports and Recreation in Brooklyn. I then joined the amazing Brooklyn Diamonds Athletics program. I ended up falling in love with the sport From the difficulty, to the intensity, to the grit and fabulousness of it all, once I joined... I never looked back! I was determined to coach the Diamonds because I wanted to show  girls from neighborhoods like my own and society that we can do anything. I wanted to show that nothing is too hard and cheering isn’t just on the sidelines or like the movie "Bring It On". It’s one of the most difficult and dangerous sports in the world and deserves respect!

What I love about coaching now is helping every athlete AND team (no matter the age or challenges)  see in themselves their true potential.  It is SUPER REWARDING!!

I am so happy to be able to work with the Brooklyn Diamonds again and help each of the athletes thrive and strive to new heights.
